Girls and Boys

Holy Crap! The differences...I guess it' s just that season where Gralynn is 3 1/2 and is such a Girly-girl, and then Gaines 18mos is such a boy-boy. I never had these issues with Gralynn. Sure she was and still is attached to me, but sheesh...she was one I had to keep my on. I told her "no", she asked why, I explained the danagers, she said ok. Gaines...ha! I'm really struggling here with how to teach him No, and Stop, and pinching does not equal tickle. I love the boy. We have a bond like no other, but OMG. Seriously, does SuperNanny help with really little ones? Just this past week, aside from the usual destruction and not-so-nice affection, he has managed to nearly knock a crack in our aquarium with a whisk, completely desensitized the cat by pulling on his tail and holding him by his butt, draw all over a table I JUST painted for my classroom, rearrange the shelves in the fridge, permanent marker the floors in the playroom, figure out how to crawl up steps, throwing everything he can get his hands on, avoid getting dressed, and unscrewing knobs.

I do love him dearly. When he's not a terror, he's absolutely the sweetest child ever. I just wish i knew what to do to keep him sweet. I hate stereotypes when they come true!!!
