Ha ha..just kidding. Nothing big going here!
Actually, I've had an eventful past few weeks, but just have not had it in me to blog about it.
The short and sweet:
I start school tomorrow.2nd grade. Very excited. I met my kids on Monday night. They are soooo stinkin cute! This one little boy came in and ran around the room, jumped in my cool dish chair, looked all around the room, threw his hands up and yelled " This is AWESOME!!!" That just made my year. The enthusiam. The innocent anticipation. The un-filtered emotion of excitement...never got THAT response from my 5th graders! :0)
A few weeks ago my dad called out the blue. Haven't had a realtionship in about 4+ years. He was sober and apologized for our past issues, and implored me to sit down and have a heart-to-heart. That whole conversation, though short and shocking was what I needed. Even IF nothing comes of it---that recognition of wrong doing and hurtful pasts with the conclusion of apology and restoration was indeed an answer to prayer! I don't know how the Lord does what He does, but man He is good!
I managed to gain lots of poundage, but I'm down with that. Working on gratefulness and self-confidence.
My mom had a semi-good doctor's report about some of her health issues, and yet..another prayer answered.
I'm learning SOOOOOO much from my bible study and feel like I'm home. I'm getting a grip on my anxiety and fear of death and I'm actually seeing things clearly for the first time in a very long time.
And lastly (for this entry anyway)...I'm just happy :0)
