Great Day Almighty!

My eyes have been ah opened. My ears have been ah burning. My mind is put at ah ease....OK, so perhaps I beez in the holy-rollin mood at the moment, but the truth is I learned a valuable lesson at church today. The short of it is that the Lord wants us to be GREAT at ONE thing. Not "so-so" at a bunch of stuff. As a woman, a mom ,teacher, friend, daughter, wife, heathen, etc.... we, especially, tend to run ourselves ragged trying to be so good at so many traits. When in the sweet reality that is God, He calls us to be great at what we do. And the best part is if we just pay attention to Him and come face-to-face with our assignment, He will provide all we need to be Great at it! This is not to say that we become crappy at everything else, but it is a nice chill out pass given to us by God that says....OK so maybe I can't be the Best mommy, maid, and teacher all at the same time. But at least in their perspective seasons it's ok to prioritize. The bottom line is when I get to that point in life (or death) I want Jesus to look at me and say "Well done, Kerri"....(no pressure) haha

Oh and Katie---if you be reading this, let me give you a shout out and say to you that I do think you are wonderful at what you do and so what if you don't school your kids every moment of the day---you school others by being YOU! and you dance with yo kids, and make memories that will be treasured forever!! I luvs you :0)
