Seriously I need the Supernanny to come train Gaines. Why does he have to be SOOOOOOOOO, how do I put this?? wild and into everything, crazy as Hell! Maybe it's b/c I'm a girl and I'm "mommy" and therefore he thinks he can win me over..(ok, ok, so he has won me over a time or two), but he does not act up around Bobby (greg's dad) or Greg for that matter. Tonight at Mimi's we had a last little dinner with Kelsey and the girls and the word of advice was to "find my voice" to use with him. Upon bathing him, he kept trying to do whatever he does to cause trouble and I did it! I said sternly "No, Sit Down". and HE DID! Reese looked at me gave the thumbs up and said I think you found y our voice. So yay...for about 4 minutes. I don't get these multiple boy moms and how they do it. Don't get me wrong, now, That boy is my heart- I love him like no other, but I am slap worn out. Any advice???

I have two great resources..."Don't Make Me Count to Three" by Ginger Plowman regarding training and discipling your children and "Shepherding a Child's Heart" by Tedd Tripp. They have really been good resources for us but remember they aren't absolute Truth as Scripture is and you need to examine all that read against that. Let me know what you think!
