Friend or Foe?

We have people in our lives who influence us in different ways. We also have the power to influence others in good and bad ways. I think that we do get wiser and (pickier) with age. We busy ourselves with important stuff and can afford to not make time for stupid things. On the flip side, we can be picky about the things we truly believe in and the people we really want to spend time with.
I just laughed out loud ("lol" I think is the verbage to be used here) b/c as I am typing this I noticed that all I need is a really hot love life, a fabulous collection of designer shoes, and cigarette in my hand and I could be just like Carrie Bradshaw writing philosophical crap and coming up with catchy phrases....
So seriously, I've realized that I am fortunate to be surrounded by friends instead of foes. I have friends who are encouraging and uplifting. Friends who recognize good characteristics and are extremely charming when it comes to convincing me to take on new endeavors. Specifically speaking of my new kick...selling Premiere Jewelry via Katie's techinique of just being too dang good at making life and hobbies seem like a breeze! So....anybody want to host a party????
It's not Claire's or Department store crap...nope, this bling is quality, stylish, and affordable, but not cheap. Wish me luck! I tried my hand at selling make up and that fizzled like soda pop. I never considered myself a real "go-getter", but who knows? I'm a new person. Well, not really, just busier with new ways to fill my time!
