Better Days...

My best friend, Cara, just gave birth to her 2nd little girl, Carsyn Greer today. That in itself is a huge blessing for them as they had some struggles early on. I also talked to a good friend of mine about my issues with Gaines (not feeling the bond and typical boy stuff) and she made me feel soooooo much better about my momming. I'm also happy that I have reconnected with many, many friends and former students on that silly thing called Facebook.
There is still so much I have to do and the stress will continue, cuz I'm a girl, a mom, and have a full-time job....but I know that all will get done. just feeling relieved b/c I know God will carry me through everything!

Also, I feel blessed to have a friend named Keisa who was my college roomate at Lander. She is giving her life as a missionary traveling the world rallying to stop child pornography, child prostitution, and child selling. I know there's a ton more she does, and I am amazed at the work God is doing in her life. She is completely selfless. She does not get paid and has to raise her money for every single thing she does just to live. She's done this for 8 years now and has not lost faith. She relies on prayer and the support of those who love her make differences around the world, literally! ijust don't know that I would be able to do that!

Today was better and tomorrow I get to spend the day with mom shopping for fabric and just being together.
