My loving husband can actually be sweet sometimes. He brought me a Starbucks and these flowers at school today. It was very sweet. We have started the Love Dare which is a Christian-based book about reconnecting with your spouse. It correlates with the movie Fireproof starring Kirk Cameron. If you can get past the lame acting, the message really is eye-opening. Anyhoo, the Love Dare is a 40 day "be nice to your spouse" kind of book. The point is that while you engage in acts of kindness and selflessness, the Lord actually softens us to the needs of others. Now, in all honesty, neither Greg nor I have actually opened the book! Our small group might kill us tomorrow when we're supposed to share our experiences, but I believe that just paying closer attention to your partner and giving of yourself helps. Especially when you hit a long slump. We are going on a double date tomorrow night after our Yard Sale and my hair appt. Then Sunday morning we are Dedicating Gralynn and Gaines to the church. (it's just an act of loyalty and symbolic of our acknowledging that we and our children belong to God). Baptism is believed to be a personal choice of people who are able to decide for themselves to take this step in obedience. We have never gotten our kids baptized/christened b/c we haven't had a home church. Oh well. Hopefully by our example, they will take that step on their own!
So that's this weekend update.

Can't wait for the dedication. We are dedicating Will at the same service :).
