SPRING IS HERE!!!

I am so thankful for seasonal changes. I love how just when the weather, the plants, the sun going down early gets old, God changes it all up! Our yard is in need of a major landscape miracle, but I enjoy change, so it should be fun to plan..and buy...and plant..and design. If only a huge chunk of money would come my way, I could do what really needs doing. Which is ironic that I say that b/c I just finished my devitonal about beinng Satisfied. Ha..that is one of my biggest weaknesses. I can never seem to be satisfied. I wonder if being totally satisfied with the Lord includes not wanting to make major home improvements??? The good thing is, I am becoming more satisfied with who I am. It's taken a long time for that, but I know that the Lord made me the way He wanted to, so that should, and is becoming enough for me.

Today, I lazed around and watched HGTV all day. I'm beginning to think that HGTV is about as bad for me as Googling medical issues!!! But my mom told me that if I want to REALLY make chnages to my house--changes that will actually STICK, I should do my research. So I am planning to notebook designs and layouts and decorative ideas to get my house looking good. I am so fickle with everything that I can never settle on one thing.

We grilled out tonight- steak, taters, steamed asparagus, the works. it was the first time in a long time, that I felt the spring fever starting to hit. I managed to halfway change out the closets and rearrange furniture. I have such an odd house and I have a hard time finding a perfect fit! I want all new everything!!

Tomorrow I hope to spend some time playing with my camera and taking some great pictures of the kids, buying frames, and decorating some more. We'll see just how much I get done.
Anyone wanna come over and give me some decorating advice?? Maybe foot the bill??haha
