Turtles... Gotta Love 'Em

My kids love having my classroom turtles, Sally and Sammy, home with us. I'm awaiting a large tank to keep them in for the whole summer, but right now they are in small tank (that I happened to break today!). I let the kiddos out to crawl around..Sally and Sammy go to crawl around too :0)and Gianes and Gralynn were having the funniest conversations with the turtles.

In other news, Gralynn started VBS today at Union and had a really good time. As it turns out, Kelsey's good friend, Debbie, is her teacher this week. And next year I hope to be teaching Debbie's son in 2nd grade :0)

Tomorrow we are FINALLY getting the carpet replaced in the room over the garage. This orginally was going to be the Greg's "ManRoom", but alas I convinced him it needs to be the kids playroom. So- I won out --now I get to organize and decorate once the carpet is in. YAY-- love projects.

And lastly, Kelsey and fam are coming home this week and I cannot wait to see them, but more to get my hands on Raegan. The last time I saw her she was tiny.

I am off to a good summer. My little "fruit/veggie/liquid diet" has started and I feel better just knowing that I am doing something good for my health.
