Anxiously Relieved

So, I went to my cardiologist today, who, by the way, knows what a freak I am about death and stuff...but he was very reassuring and informative. He basically said my heart is strong and that I am not at major risk of sudden death from a heart stand point. So yea! Of course, upon walking out of the office with my dear husband who says to me "Now don't you feel better? Everyone told you you were fine." My reply was "yeah, I'll probably get hit by a car now". Not sure where this all came from, but a teacher friend of mine says that #1 I need to get a copy of sermon the preacher made this past sunday and #2 I need to watch the movie, The Village. We shall see if I'm cured!
I do have a lot to look forward to in these upcoming weeks. First, my sister and fam will be coming in from Hawaii. I haven't seen them since March, so it will be nice to stand side-by-side and sing "Ebony and Ivory" as we compare skin tones! Second, reunions with high school friends and neighborhood friends. Third, Christmas of course! and Lastly, Gaines will be turning one. Time has passed so quickly, but I much more a toddler mommy than a baby mommy. So to these good times ahead I say....screw the fear and live my life.
Perhaps if you read this, you should enter a comment restating that last line so it can resignate in my brain.

Happy Holidays!

PS--- Who really reads this anyway?
